Bluetooth Wrist Watch

A watch I bought from Aliexpress. Like a Smart watch, it actually connects to your phone using Bluetooth. Though it doesn't do as much as what a Pebble watch can, it's much cheaper (around 57 USD) and actually has some cool functions that most Smart watches do not tend to have.

There's a transparent casing on the watch which, flipping it over, will reveal the dial pad.

By pressing the side buttons you can set the time, sync your phone and even your contacts. After syncing your contacts, you will then be able to select anyone in the contact list that you want to dial using the watch alone.

When someone calls you on your phone, the watch will start to vibrate while displaying the Caller ID on the screen. You can then use the keys on the dial pad to pick up or hang up the call.

It also acts as an anti-theft device by vibrating whenever it is out of range with your phone, though some people who do not have the habit of carrying their phone wherever they go will find this feature irritating.

The coolest thing about this watch is that it actually acts as a headset too, with the speaker on the top of the transparent casing and the mic below the '0' key. You can either pick up calls like James Bond, or if you want to avoid people staring at you in bewilderment, it can actually be detached from the wrist band.

Despite the cool functions, this watch actually has a few flaws. Firstly, to see the time on the screen, you need to press on one of the side buttons to switch on the back light that lasts for a few seconds, which is pretty inconvenience for a watch. Secondly, the watch seems to have a problem reconnecting to the phone after it gets disconnected the first time. Some times it works, but most of the time a manual reconnection is required. Lastly, the battery life. It doesn't last 2 days. Meaning by the end of day 2 you'll probably come back home with a dead watch.

Though these flaws are actually bad enough to deter many people from even considering this watch, the price is still alright for gadgets enthusiasts to get one of these just to play around with it once in a while.
